Steam Level Friend Slots

  • I would like to play with the same level and questlines as my friend's characters, which are mostly Level 30+ and in True Vault Hunter Mode, but some of my characters that I'd like to play are in a low level and are not yet in True Vault Hunter Mode. I would also like to have all weapon slots unlocked.
  • For all available badges, see Category:Badges. Once a set of cards has been collected it can be crafted into a game badge. Badges are tied to user accounts and are shown on users' profiles. Crafting game badges earns the user marketable items like emoticons, profile backgrounds, and coupons. Badges can be leveled up by collecting the set again and re-crafting the badge thus earning more items.

Steam Trading Cards are virtual cards earned by playing games on Steam. Sets of cards can be turned into game badges and tradable Steam community items. Play any of the participating Steam Trading Cards games to get trading cards. Up to half of a card set is dropped through game play, while the other half must be obtained through trading or through the Steam Community Market. Once a user collects an entire set of cards, the cards may be crafted into a game badge. Badges are tied to user accounts and are shown on profile pages. Crafting game badges earns tradable items like emoticons, profile backgrounds, and coupons. A user can level up badges by collecting the set again and crafting it again.

Game badges

All badges have XP which contributes to Steam Level, a summary of user badge collection. A user's Steam Level may be viewed by hovering over their avatar or by visiting their profile page. Leveling up earns users non-tradable items like profile showcases and extra friends list slots. After crafting a badge, users receive random rewards from a set of game-related items: profile backgrounds, emoticons, and coupons for another game or for a DLC. These are tradable and may only be used while the user possesses them.

A user may choose which badge they wish to feature on their profile. Featured badges are displayed on the top-right of profile pages, directly under the Steam Level. Featured badges are also displayed on the tooltip that is shown when hovering over the user's avatar on other Community pages.

Users can customize their profile with showcases. Each 10 Steam Levels will grant a user 1 showcase slot. Available showcases include Rarest Achievement, Game Collector, Item Showcase, Items Up For Trade, Badge Collector, Favorite Game, Screenshot Showcase, Custom Info Box, Favorite Group, Recommendation Showcase, Workshop Showcase, Favorite Guide, Achievement Showcase, and Greenlight Submission.
